Get a Taste of Georgetown

Each year about 8,000 people get a “Taste of Georgetown”. The event is organized by the Georgetown Business Improvement District. The 21st edition of this community event took place on Saturday, Sept. 13, by the Georgetown waterfront on K Street. 
Food, music and activities for children bring together the community. 
Zeina Davis, the event coordinator for the Georgetown BID, tells us more about the event.

This reporting, produced in November 2012, uncovered the presence of a huge amount of common and hazardous waste in the Vesuvio National Park. In some cases, my colleague and I found old appliances and asbestos dumped a few meters away from the crops.
